Most days I use Twitter to share client-related news or PR industry articles. Occasionally, I'll throw in a smattering of tweets about shopping deals or my latest dining experience.
My tweets generate a retweet here and there, but nothing too crazy. Yesterday, I tweeted about trying out a new restaurant in the Back Bay for dinner with two of my girlfriends:
I was never expecting a response to my tweet, so much to my surprise, I received this:

While we were enjoying the delicious food, the manager Morgan came to our table and let us know that we would be receiving a complimentary round of drinks for tweeting! For a restaurant just starting out, this was a stellar example of how social media can help drive business.
Not only have I tweeted about 94 Mass. Ave. since dinner, but I told several of my co-workers that it's a must-try restaurant right around the corner from our office.
Cheers to you, 94 Mass. Ave! Keep on tweeting.
